This weekend was just so. much. fun. Thank goodness for Blogger’s auto-post feature, because believe it or not, I wasn’t online this weekend at all, except to check my email in case any orders came in. But did you know that when you set something to auto-post, you have to make sure you have set it to post on Sunday, June 8th and NOT Sunday June 15th? That’s what happened to the Mystery Photo Contest reveal – it was set for a week out. ( bad).

When I twittered it, I told everyone it was super-duper easy…and boy was I right – just about everyone guessed what it was, although someone asked why it was on an orange background…hmm…because it’s a stock photo? 🙂

But Courtney from A Mom Speaks was the first person to correctly guess the photo – so congrats, Courtney! Here’s some link love for ya! Everyone go check her blog out and say “hi” now. I’ll wait. But you have to come back, because I’m not finished here, folks.

One more link for you to check out – this month’s giveaway. You don’t have to be a blogger to win this exceedingly cool prize, either. My husband and I both have these and when my nephew gave me one he won in a grab bag, I was all, “oooh, thanks…I could use this!” {insert evil cackle here} My husband is going to be getting an AT&T Tilt phone this summer too, so we really have no need for yet another PDA, because we’ll have an extra once he gets his Tilt. By the way, here’s some code you can grab if you want to put the JUNE giveaway in your sidebar. If you happen to have the old birdy one, please replace it if you don’t mind. Or not. I’m flexible. Here’s the image and the code for you to grab:

In other news, we have formed a quartet at Church (I say this like we did it a month ago – it was LAST NIGHT). Three of us ladies sing together quite regularly (I would much rather sing with someone else than by myself – groups cover a multitude of singing sins) and we all stayed after church last night to practice. Our youth pastor was up on the platform behind us and as we practiced, he was working on his laptop and closing things down from the service, but he kept adding in his voice and “beatboxing” and it just sounded so good, y’all. So we told him if he was going to do that, he had to join our group and I think a real quartet was born. Now, we aren’t anything to write home about, but it’s been ages since our church has had anything but soloists, so this will be a nice change. Now we’ve just got to practice, practice, practice.

I have about 262 feeds in my google reader. I hate it when that happens…is anyone else overwhelmed at the sheer volume of feeds they receive on a daily basis? But I love all the blogs I have in my reader and just don’t think I could pare it down anymore. Still, I am conflicted when I find a new blog to add, because that number of daily feeds just seems to grow exponentially. What’s a girl to do? (I’ll just keep adding and read them all throughout the day, I suppose)

And I really dislike the fact that this post is so much randomness. I have some neato-guido things to share about K’s camp experience last week, so I’ll work on a post for that later today.

What did YOU do this weekend?

Thanks so much for the tips on the paci! Much appreciated. I am actually very close to having you do a blog design for me. I really like your designs. I am just entering the world of sharing my blog and really getting into it all. One other question – I am trying to get the Childhood Cancer group button that you have on your blog to work for my blog and can’t get it to show up – Any ideas? I am a pediatric oncology nurse, so that is a world that is close to my heart!

Anyway – on to your question – I took the kids to see Kung Foo Panda – VERY CUTE MOVIE! We really enjoyed it and now everything in our house is “HAY YAH”!!! They loved it. Then we spent a great lazy day at home on Sunday – I don’t often have those days, so that was wonderful!

Random is good. Some days random is all I got.

I don’t use the reader. It’s overwhelming. I just start at the bottom of my list and work my way up each day. Less stressful that way.

I don’t have that many feeds, but I have enough that it can get overwhelming, I know!

This weekend I sweated as we had a two day carport sale. Yes, we were insane, thanks for asking. 😉
